Taking in the key developments of Central Park and Feethams, Central Growth Zone has assisted area status for the period 2014 - 2020 which means that businesses locating to assisted areas may be eligible for regional aid under European Commission state aid rules, which is typically offered as a capital investment:

  • Feethams is an exciting redevelopment of a prime town centre site which will create a £30m state of the art leisure complex for the town.  Featuring a nine screen multiplex cinema, an 80 bedroom hotel, there will also be a number of national and independent bars and restaurants making it a hub of leisure activity in the region.  A 650 space MSCP is currently under development.
