A busy week for Darlington business
THERE is a busy week ahead as final preparations are made for Darlington’s first ever Business Week from Monday 18 - Friday 22 September.
Brochures detailing the week of free events are being unpacked and made ready for the first event of the week - Darlington’s annual Business Summit on Monday 18 September from 8.30am at Teesside University Darlington Campus.
Highlights during the week include the chance to meet the experts in one-to-one surgeries to help develop and grow a business, a behind the scenes tour of Cummins, a range of IT support sessions, marketing and PR advice, support available for employees who are carers, business start-up workshops and much more.
Councillor Chris McEwan, Darlington Borough Council’s Cabinet member for economy and regeneration said;
“The week promises to deliver a packed programme of free workshops aimed at encouraging local businesses to find out more about how they can do business better and find out about the help and support available.
“The workshops will also offer an ideal opportunity to network with others in a similar position. There’s still time to sign up for a place – I urge local businesses to take time out of their busy day and get involved.”
Places on the workshops are free and can be booked by following the links from: http://www.darlington.gov.uk/business-and-licensing/darlington-business-week/
