Whatever the size of your business, social media will play a role in helping to increase brand awareness, tell your story, drive traffic to your website and ultimately help to increase sales. However, what happens when things go wrong and a member of staff puts a derogatory post on Facebook about another member of staff? Can you use a potential employee’s social media activity as a reason not to employ them?

Anthony Willis, employment solicitor at BHP Law will give an overview of what you should include in your company’s social media policy and the legal implications of not having one. The Social Gene will share their top tips on the do's and don'ts of social media etiquette for business owners.

Registration from 11.30am with coffee. The seminar is due to start at midday followed by a buffet lunch at 1pm with the opportunity to ask questions and network.
